The hot lunch program

  • Begins the second week of school (September 10th)
  • Is priced by semester and monthly
  • Is ordered by printing and filling out the monthly order form and turning it at the school front desk or office

The menu has been restructured to offer a healthier meal for your children that they can experience with their peers, and also to get a taste of new cultures.

Please note Fridays are pizza days that support the Elementary fundraiser for their big class trip to Chicago. Order forms may be found in the lobby and must be turned in to the front desk by Friday September 7th for the month of September. Pricing will be on the calendar. Each additional month will be due the week before the month starts. For additional questions please contact the office.

Lunch options

Everything is presented family style so children can learn to pour or portion out their own meal.

They use real silverware and plateware to better prepare them for real life experiences.

Soups- all soups (except tomato) come with crackers

*Tomato soup- creamy tomato soup with vegetable base, comes with grilled cheese (wheat bread with American cheese). Does contain dairy, bread contains gluten, vegetarian

*Coconut vegetable soup- Coconut milk and vegetable based, contains curry but has no spice to it. Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Vegetarian

*Vegetable soup- tomato and vegetable based, contains potatoes and black beans. Gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian

*Black bean soup- vegetable based, served over rice. Gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian

*Chickpea and potatoes stew- vegetable based, served over rice. Gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian

Pastas- All pastas are whole wheat except macaroni and cheese –all contain gluten

*Pasta with marinara and applesauce. Dairy free and vegetarian

*Macaroni and cheese with apples. Vegetarian *Cheesy baked penne with applesauce. Vegetarian

*Olive oil and garlic pasta with apple. Dairy free and vegetarian

*Alfredo basil pasta with fresh tomatoes. Vegetarian Chicken dishes- all have vegetarian options

*Grilled chicken (or eggplant) with lemon garlic broccoli. Gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian option

*Chicken stir fry over rice. Vegetarian option double portion of vegetables. Contains gluten, dairy free, vegetarian option

*Grilled chicken with grilled zucchini, squash and eggplant. Vegetarian gets double vegetable portion. Gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian option

*Pineapple and broccoli chicken over rice. Vegetarian option includes mushroom. Contains gluten, dairy free, vegetarian option

*Chicken fried rice, contains egg. Vegetarian option available with no chicken. Contains gluten, dairy free, vegetarian option

*Chicken, black bean and cheese tacos (or bean and cheese) with Mexican rice. Rice is vegetable and tomato based. Contains gluten, tacos contain dairy/rice does not, vegetarian option

*Grilled chicken (or eggplant) with baked potato (side of cheese). Gluten free, dairy on side, vegetarian option

Other lunches

*Pulled BBQ pork (or mushrooms) with carrots and ranch. BBQ does not contain gluten but produced in factory with gluten, dairy free, vegetarian option

*Turkey and cheese (or veggie burger and cheese) roll ups in wheat wrap with applesauce. Contains gluten, contains dairy, vegetarian option

*Cheese quesadillas with Mexican rice. Rice is vegetable and tomato based. Contains gluten, contains dairy, vegetarian

*Hummus platter with cut vegetables and cheese. Gluten free, contains dairy on the side
